Cold cups fail differently from hot cups. Heat softens a seam; cold creates condensation, and condensation is what delaminates a single-coated cup from the outside in — the outer surface stays wet for the half hour a 32oz drink is on a table or in a cupholder. Double PE coating puts film on both faces of the board, so the outside resists the water that forms on it rather than absorbing it. That is the reason this size is specified as double PE rather than as a heavier board: a 32oz cup with thick board and one-sided coating still goes soft on the outside.

Board runs 210-320GSM in white, brown kraft, natural bamboo or bleached bamboo paper, and coating options are PE, PLA, Bio-PBS and water-based — so the same 32oz tooling can be quoted as a standard cold cup or as a compostable one without changing dimensions or case count. Printing is flexo or offset up to 7 colours, which matters less than it sounds on a 32oz cup: the printable band is wide, so full-wrap artwork reproduces well and a fountain operator can run a seasonal design without new tooling.

The 32oz is packed 50pcs per bag, 20 bags per case, at 54 × 44 × 64cm and 447 cartons to a 40HQ — a bigger carton than a hot cup case, because the cup is 179mm tall and does not nest as tightly. Sizes above it are packed 25pcs per bag: at 44oz and 50oz the stack height becomes the constraint on case weight. MOQ is 50,000pcs across the range, and certifications carried are SGS, ISO9001, ISO22000, BRC, FSC, LFGB and BSCI.
