An 8oz cold cup is the water-and-soft-drink size: small enough that a customer finishes it before the ice melts, large enough to sell at a margin. KaiLai's SW-8oz is built at 80mm top, 56mm base and 90mm high on 210-320GSM food-grade white, kraft or bamboo paper with PE, PLA or PBS coating, printed flexo or offset up to 7 colours. Cases run 50pcs × 20 bags at 40.5 × 33 × 42cm, 1,211 cartons to a 40HQ — one of the highest carton counts in the cold ladder, which is what keeps the landed cost per cup low. The 8oz cold cup is the size that carries water, soda and small juices — and in export markets it is the format buyers ask for under the name karton bardak, the everyday paper cup of Turkish and Middle Eastern food service. It is also the cheapest cold size to land: at 50pcs per bag, 20 bags per case and 1,211 cartons to a 40HQ, freight per cup is lower than at any larger diameter, because the cup is short enough to nest tightly and light enough that a case stays inside manual handling limits.
8oz single wall cold cup — 80 × 56 × 90mm
Board runs 210-320GSM in white, kraft, natural bamboo or bleached bamboo paper. For an 8oz cold cup the low end of that band is usually enough — the load is small and the drink is short — and the higher weights are specified when the cup has to survive being stacked two high at a counter or carried in a tray. Coating options are PE lamination for the standard cold cup, PLA lining for a compostable claim and PBS coating where a buyer wants a bio-based film; all three run on the same tooling, so the case count does not change when the coating does.

Printing is flexo or offset up to 7 colours. On an 8oz cup the printable band is narrow, so artwork has to be built for a short wall: a logo plus one band reads well, while a multi-line copy block becomes unreadable. The same single wall platform covers 2.5oz, 4oz, 6oz, 7oz, 7.5oz, three 8oz diameter variants, 10oz, three 12oz variants and the 16oz to 50oz large sizes, which means a buyer can build a full cold programme — water, soda, sharing cup — on one supplier and one lid family. MOQ is 50,000pcs.
