KaiLai's popcorn bucket is a straight-wall cinema tub supplied in nine capacities from 24oz to 170oz, and in twelve SKUs once the 64oz butterfly and the tall 64oz and 85oz builds are counted. Sizes run from 95 × 65 × 178mm at 24oz up to 220 × 164 × 210mm at 170oz. The board is 210-350GSM food grade white paper, clay coated paperboard or bamboo paper, lined with PE as standard, or with PLA lining and PBS coating. Outside print is flexo or offset in up to 7 colours. Cinemas and takeaway chains run them for popcorn, and loadability ranges from 476 to 969 cartons per 40HQ. MOQ is 50,000pcs, customized design and packaging are accepted, and shipments leave from Shanghai or Nanjing.
A popcorn bucket is bought against a portion size, not against a litre, because a cinema sells small, medium and share from the same counter and a tub that is too tall leaves air under the rim while one that is too wide will not sit in the cup holder. KaiLai publishes twelve SKUs from 24oz at 95 × 65 × 178mm to 170oz at 220 × 164 × 210mm, including a 64oz butterfly build plus tall 64oz and 85oz bodies, so one menu can be matched to the exact tub that fills it.
Popcorn bucket — 24oz to 170oz, 210-350GSM food grade board, 7-colour print
The tub is a straight-wall bucket with a glued side seam and a rolled top rim, formed from 210-350GSM stock: food grade white paper where the cleanest print is wanted, clay coated paperboard for a smooth white surface, or bamboo paper for a natural fibre look. The food side takes PE lamination as standard, with PLA lining or PBS coating when the buyer needs a compostable barrier. Flexo or offset printing runs up to 7 colours on the outside, and the 44oz body packs 25pcs per bag against 50pcs on the other sizes.
Twelve SKUs — butterfly 64oz plus tall 64oz and 85oz, 25-50pcs per bag
Loadability separates the sizes more than volume does. The 24oz loads 576 cartons into a 40HQ on 50pcs × 20bag; the 32oz reaches 969 cartons because it stacks tighter in a 58.5 × 24 × 50cm case; the 44oz drops to 476 because it is bagged 25pcs, not 50. At the top of the range 130oz holds 506 cartons and 170oz 604. Check the bag count before costing freight — on this line the bag, not the tub, sets the case.
